BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly failing to yield and causing a collision.
Larry V. Elkins filed a complaint on Nov. 27 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Stephen R. McGuire, alleging he failed to operate his vehicle with reasonable care.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 12 2015, the parties were involved in a crash when their vehicles collided.
As a result, Elkins claims he sustained injuries to his neck and shoulders, resulting in extreme pain and suffering, medical care and treatment expenses and lost wages.
The plaintiff alleges McGuire failed to keep a careful lookout, failed to yield the right of way and failed to reduce speed or stop to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in excess of the court's minimum threshold and all other fair and reasonable relief.
He is represented by E. Ryan Bradley of The Bradley Law Firm in St. Louis.
