Man sues over O'Fallon Home Depot parking lot collision

BELLEVILLE – An East St. Louis man is seeking damages after a collision in the Home Depot parking lot in O'Fallon.

Tyrone Reading filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jonathan K. Wise, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 24, he was driving a motor vehicle within the parking lot of Home Depot in O'Fallon when the defendant recklessly pulled out of his parking space and collided with Reading's vehicle. 

The plaintiff claims he sustained injuries to his head, limbs and other parts of his body, both internally and externally. 

The plaintiff alleges Wise failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to apply brakes properly to stop his vehicle.

The plaintiff seeks damages of no less than $50,000, plus costs of the suit.
