BELLEVILLE – A Belleville couple is seeking damages after a rear-end collision in O'Fallon.
Jason Hesker and Melinda Hesker filed a complaint on Nov. 2 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Anna Demaris, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Nov. 10, 2015, Jason Hesker was driving his motor vehicle in a northerly direction on Hartman Lane near the intersection of Kingsley in O'Fallon when his vehicle was struck in the rear by the defendant.
As a result, Jason Hesker claims he sustained physical injuries and Melinda Hesker alleges the loss the enjoyment of society of her husband.
The plaintiffs allege Demaris failed to reduce speed to avoid the accident.
The plaintiffs seek judgment in an amount of more than $50,000 plus costs, and any other relief deemed just and proper.
