BELLEVILLE – An O'Fallon resident is alleged to have defaulted on a loan for a vehicle.
Santander Consumer USA Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 15 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Kenisha Leverette alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 14, 2013, plaintiff financed defendant's purchase of a 2012 Nissan Sentra for a monthly payment of $359.86 beginning March 17, 2013. As of Oct. 26, 2017, the amount of $11,541.75 allegedly remains due and owing.
The plaintiff holds Leverette responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make the required monthly payments pursuant to the contract and wrongfully detained the subject motor vehicle.
The plaintiff seeks judgment in its favor for the immediate possession of the subject vehicle and any further relief as the court may deem just and equitable. It is represented by Laura J. Gust and Timothy C. Sansone of Sandberg Phoenix & Von Gontard PC in St. Louis.
