BELLEVILLE – A Cahokia man alleges he was injured when a Sauget driver struck his vehicle in St. Clair County.
Anthony Brown filed a complaint on Nov. 1 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Patrick Lubus, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 4, 2015, he was driving his 2000 Ford Explorer and was nearly stopped at the exit of 2400 Mississippi Avenue parking lot when the defendant, who was driving a 2003 Jeep Liberty, struck his vehicle.
Brown alleges he sustained injuries and damages resulting in pain and suffering, loss of normal life and medical expenses.
The plaintiff alleges Lubus failed to maintain careful lookout and negligently drove his vehicle on the opposite lane of travel when it unsafe to do so.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages plus costs of suit.
