Motorist alleges injuries from rear-end collision on Highway 50

Car accident 30

BELLEVILLE – An O'Fallon man alleges he sustained injuries to his neck and back when he was rear-ended while stopped at a traffic light in St. Clair County.

Aaron Denno filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Autymn Hubbard, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 4, 2015, he was operating a 2004 Ford F150 traveling eastbound on West U.S. Highway 50 and was fully stopped at a stop light. Denno claims the defendant suddenly and unexpectedly crashed her Ford Expedition into the rear of his vehicle, causing it to collide with the vehicle in front of him.

As a result of the impact, the plaintiff alleges he sustained severe and disabling injuries to his neck, back, spine and head. He alleges he endured pain and suffering, loss wages and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Hubbard failed to maintain a careful lookout, followed the plaintiff's vehicle closer than what is reasonable and failed to reduce her speed.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $50,000, costs and fees for this action and any further relief as the court may deem appropriate.

He is represented by Christopher R. Dixon of The Dixon Injury Firm in St. Louis.
