Damages sought from Madison County man after rear-end collision on I-64 exit ramp

BELLEVILLE – A Missouri man is seek more than $50,000 in damages from a Madison County man after a rear-end collision.

Zachary Beyer filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Joseph Bohnenstiehl alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 12, 2016, he was traveling westbound and slowing down to stop on Interstate 64's exit ramp when the defendant collided with the rear of his motor vehicle. He alleges he sustained injuries and damages resulting in pain, lost wages, mental distress and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Bohnenstiehl responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep careful lookout and failed to slow down or stop before colliding with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action and all further relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Shin Cho of Law Office of Shin Cho in St. Louis.
