EDWARDSVILLE - Twentieth Century Fox filmed scenes for The Empty Man at the Madison County Circuit Court on Thursday night.
The south side of the courthouse served as the façade of a police department in the movie. The studio also filmed at a home on Historic St. Louis Street and the Chain of Rocks Bridge.

The film is an adaptation from a graphic novel written by St. Louis writer Cullen Bunn.
According to his website, Bunn writes comic books for Oni Press and Marvel Comics. He also writes short fiction and novels.
