Motorist sued following Millstadt collision

Car accident 02

BELLEVILLE — A driver and passenger are suing a motorist Lindsey Adams for allegedly causing a Millstadt collision.

Richard Watson and Janice Watson filed a complaint on Jan. 17 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Lindsey Adams, alleging she negligently operated her vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 16, Richard Watson was driving a motor vehicle owned by his wife, Janice Watson, in Millstadt when the defendant suddenly ran into the rear of their vehicle.

As a result, the plaintiffs claim they suffered pain and physical injuries and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiffs allege Adams failed to keep proper lookout and failed to keep her vehicle under proper control.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and demand judgment in an amount greater that $75,000 plus costs.

They are represented by Thomas Q. Keefe, Jr. of Keefe, Keefe and Unsell, PC in Belleville.
