A male motorist and his female passenger are suing another driver, alleging negligence for injuries they say they sustained in an automobile accident.
John M. Patterson and Tiffany R. Bauswell filed a lawsuit on Oct. 26 in Madison County Circuit Court against Glen H. Dalton.
According to the complaint, on June 6, the plaintiffs were driving in Bethalto when Dalton drove his car into Patterson's vehicle. The suit says both plaintiffs suffered bodily injury, internally and externally, disability and disfigurement, lost earnings and increased medical bills.
Patterson and Bauswell seek damages of more than $50,000, court costs and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Gregory M. Tobin, Pratt & Tobin, of East Alton.
