A Granite City man is suing over injuries he allegedly sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Justin Valenzuela filed the suit on Nov. 6 in Madison County Circuit Court against Oddriea Bazzell.
According to the complaint, on Jan. 12, the plaintiff was a passenger in a vehicle that was allegedly rear-ended by defendant Bazzell.
The suit claims the defendant was negligent and caused her vehicle to strike the vehicle in front of her, in which Valenzuela was riding.
The plaintiff claims he suffered serious injuries, which will affect his future earning capacity, cause future pain and diminish his enjoyment of life.
The plaintiff seeks a judgment of $50,000 plus court costs and attorney fees.
