A woman is suing over injuries she allegedly sustained while riding as a passenger on a Madison County Transit bus.
Lisa Boda filed the suit on Nov. 8 in Madison County Circuit Court against Anna Lee Rodriguez, Eric L. Fry and Madison County Transit.
According to the complaint, on March 9, while the bus was stopped to pick up passengers, a car driven by Rodriguez collided with the rear of the bus, causing the plaintiff to sustain neck, head and back injuries as well as neurological damage, the suit states.
The plaintiff is also suing Fry, the bus operator, as well as Madison County Transit, alleging their negligence led to her injuries.
The plaintiff seeks $50,000 in damages from each of the defendants.
