A night club patron alleges her left ear was partially bitten off by a customer who was over-served alcohol.
Amber Hausey filed a lawsuit on Oct. 26 against the owners of the Oz Night Club, the National Sports and Recreation Co. Oz, Inc., in the St. Clair County Circuit Court for violation of the Dram Shop Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 5, while at the Oz Night Club in Sauget, she was assaulted and had her left ear bitten off by an intoxicated and over-served patron.
Hausey is seeking $65,511 in damages.
The plaintiff is represented by Brad Badgley of Belleville.
