The driver of a vehicle traveling on Fairwood Hills Road is suing another motorist for injuries allegedly caused by a rear-end collision.
Catherine Scrivner, a minor, and her parents, filed a lawsuit on Oct. 20 against Anne and Bryan Birchem in the St. Clair County Circuit Court, alleging negligent operation of a vehicle.
According to the complaint, on Jan. 15, 2013, the plaintiff was traveling westbound on Fairwood Hills Road when the defendants' vehicle traveling directly behind them allegedly collided with the plaintiffs' vehicle, causing serious bodily injuries.
Scrivner is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus costs of litigation.
The plaintiff is represented by Hrant Norsigian of O'Fallon.
