A man says he became disabled after a patron at a bar became intoxicated.
John A. Mueller filed a lawsuit Sept. 13 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Friday’s South.
In his complaint, Mueller alleges he suffered injuries after a patron at Friday’s South, Christopher J. Martin, became intoxicated. Mueller does not specify how Martin injured him, but does say he experienced pain and suffering, became disabled, was kept from attending to his usual duties and affairs and lost time from work because of the incident, according to the complaint. He also incurred medical costs, the suit states.
In his complaint, Mueller seeks a judgment of more than $50,000, plus costs, attorney’s fees and other relief the court deems just.
Kevin T. Hoerner of Becker, Paulson, Hoerner and Thompson in Belleville will be representing him.
