A Madison County man is suing an Edwardsville salvage company after allegedly tripping over a cable while walking through the yard.
Henry Meyers filed a lawsuit April 1 in Madison County Circuit Court against J&L Auto Salvage LLC.
Meyers says he was walking in the salvage yard in September 2010 when he tripped and fell over a buried cable in the walkway. Meyers claims he hurt both of his hands and his foot in the fall.
Meyers accuses J&L of negligence and asks for more than $50,000 in damages for medical bills and court costs.
