A seminar on St. Clair County's new online land records system has been postponed. The seminar was scheduled for Tuesday. According to officials from Fidlar Technologies, the Tuesday morning event will be held at a later date due to some problems getting the new system up and running.
The St. Clair County Recorder of Deeds partnered with the technology firm to install software that will allow the public to search all documents related to land records in the county.
According to a release from the recorder's office the goal of the new programs – Laredo and Tapestry – is to "evolve in the technology era."
