Gallop, Johnson & Neuman has announced that four new associate attorneys have joined their St. Louis-based law firm.
Mitchell A. Gibson joined the firm and plans to focus his practice in the areas of tax and employee benefits. Gibson was formerly with the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche in St. Louis where he was an employee benefits and tax attorney.
He earned a B.A. in political science from Eastern Illinois University, a J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and an L.M. in taxation from Washington University School of Law.
Three more associates joined the firm after each participated in Gallop’s summer professional program.
Anwar M. Johnson recently graduated with a J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law after two summers with the firm and is now a litigation associate in the Litigation Department. He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego.
Leigh M. Klawiter joined the firm in the Business Services Department. Klawiter earned a J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law, an M.A. in counseling from Lindenwood University, and a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri in Columbia. Leigh is a former high school guidance counselor and previously spent two summers with the firm.
Megan L. Klein is a new associate dividing her time between the Real Estate and Business Services Departments. She earned a J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law. Klein also studied at St. Louis University in Madrid, Spain, and earned a B.S. from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield.
