A man who was injured while unloading a truck filed suit against Knaack Manufacturing Company in St. Clair County Circuit Court Sept. 6.
Mike Krachenfels, a truck driver for Industrial Transport, claims a load he was hauling fell while it was being unloaded, causing him to fall and injure his neck and back.
Krachenfels had picked up the loaded trailer to haul for Knaack at its Illinois facility.
According to the complaint, Krachenfels sustained damages including past and future medical bills, past and future lost wages, past and future disability and disfigurement all to his damage in an amount exceeding $50,000.
