John Sminchak v. ABC Investments, Inc

  • On Sept. 16, 2004, Madison County resident Sminchak was injured when delivery driver, Mullin--an employee of ABC Investments Inc.-- lost control of his tractor trailer and struck Sminchak's vehicle. Sminchak is seeking at least $50,000 in damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost wages.

  • The Knapps allege while traveling at the intersection of Route 103 at Pontoon Road on March 15, 2003, James Kirn failed to maintain proper lookout, and collided with their vehicle. Annie Knapp, a passenger, claims she suffered multiple injuries from being tossed about inside the vehicle, and she is placing the fault with both drivers, Charles Knapp and Kirn. The Knapps are seeking a combined total of at least $150,000 in compensation for permanent injuries, future medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

  • Theresa Oberlohr, a passenger, claims while driving northbound on U.S. 67 on April 23, 2004, Robert Morrow, of King City, Ore., failed to yield the right of way, and violently collided into her vehicle. Oberlohr claims she received multiple injuries to her bones, nerves, muscles, and ligaments in her neck and back. She is seeking at least $50,000 in damages.
