Belleville powerhouse attorney Bruce Cook filed suit on behalf of his firm, Cook, Ysursa, Bartholomew, Brauer & Shevlin, seeking to recover $150,000 in attorneys' fees from AIG Insurance Services Inc. and AIG Technical Services, Inc.
The suit, filed Feb. 8 in St. Clair County Circuit Court, claims a $2.35 million settlement was reached in Beard v. Allen-Bradley on June 9, 2004. In the suit filed in Macon County, Cook's firm represented Beard and AIG provided casualty insurance for the Allen-Bradley Co.
