Greg and Pam Wright v. Bel-O Cooling & Heating, Inc. and Edwardsville Electric

  • The Wrights allege a fire in their Collinsville residence on Jan. 12, 2001, is the direct result of the installation of furnace ducts by Bel-O Cooling & Heating as installed on the same day. The Wrights also allege electrical work completed by Edwardsville Electric in November of 2000 contributed to the fire. The Wrights are seeking $54,591.24 in damages and all other costs.

  • Gateway Regional Medical Center alleges Presnell failed to pay in full on medical services. Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking $176,764.22 for the unpaid balance plus all other costs.

    Rebecca Lewis v. Joseph Chinchock et.al.

  • On Aug. 9, 2003, Lewis claims while driving at the intersection of Route 203 and Maryville Road, Chinchock collided into her vehicle. Lewis is seeking a sum of at least $150,000.

    Zachary Friederich, Elias Friederich, and Jacob Friederich v. Anne Bailey and Minnesota Life Insurance Company

  • The Friederichs, the estranged adult children of the deceased, claims Bailey, their late father’s wife, failed to notify them of their father’s death, and as a result, they did not attend their father’s funeral. The Friederichs also allege that Bailey coerced the decedent, in his weakened mental state, into changing his insurance policy from the Friederichs as the primary beneficiaries, to herself as the primary beneficiary. The Friederichs pray for a judgment of at least $50,000, all court costs, and request to be the lawful beneficiaries of the insurance policy.

    Vincent Andrzejewski v. Sandra Lamantia d/b/a Inside Out 12, Inc

  • Andrzejewski claims he suffered injuries from a collapsed chair while a patron at the Inside Out 12, Inc. restaurant on July 22, 2003. Andrzejewski claims the restaurant failed to inform the patrons of the unsafe chairs. He is seeking at least $50,000.

    Jeffrey A. McQuaid v. Madison County, Illinois and Madison County Housing Redevelopment Corporation d/b/a Madison County Housing Authority

  • McQuaid alleges on Feb. 2, 2004, he slipped and fell on patches of ice and snow that were left behind after Madison County Housing Authority's cleanup efforts. McQuaid, a resident of the Madison County Housing apartments in Alton, is seeking at least $200,000 for injuries and past and future medical care.
