A man is suing after he slipped and fell in the ice machine area of a hotel.
Albert E. Dickerson filed a lawsuit Jan. 31 in the St. Clair Circuit Court against Drury Hotels Company LLC, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on Jan. 7, 2013, Dickerson was at the defendant's hotel at 1118 Central Park Drive, O'Fallon. The complaint claims the floor became slippery due to an overflow in the ice machine area. The plaintiff alleges that due to the wet floor he slipped and fell, causing injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000.
