Former Miss Kitty's dancer claims boss and co-workers beat her

A woman who left her job as a dancer at Miss Kitty's in Washington Park because her boss and others attacked her is suing.

Terra Johnson filed a lawsuit Jan. 24 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Reginald Allen, Gail Allen, Jody Marsala, Miss Kitty's Inc. and unknown Jane Doe, citing negligence, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Johnson claims she suffered injuries and continues to suffer neurological episodes following the July 14, 2012 attack at the club. She claims Reginald Allen forced her off stage while she was performing her duties and into the women's restroom. He allegedly grabbed her throat and yelled at her about money.

She claims Marsala slammed her head into a toilet. She claims Doe punched her in the face and on her head.

Reginald Allen allegedly threatened her with death if she went to the hospital or police, the suit claims. As a result of the attack, Johnson suffered from multiple severe seizures, but didn't receive medical treatment for fear of her life. She was forced to move out of state with her family because of the threat on her life.

Johnson is seeking damages from each defendant in excess of $50,000, attorney's fees and court costs.

She is being represented in the case by Illinois attorneys Michael Gras, Law Office of Christopher Cueto LTD and Lloyd M. Cueto, Law Office of Lloyd M. Cueto.
