Disabled adult sues residential facility for negligence over alleged sexual abuse

A developmentally disabled adult and his mother are suing his residential facility regarding alleged incidents of sexual abuse along with reckless supervision in 2014. Donna Biffar, mother and guardian of Michael Lawrence Stroh, filed a lawsuit individually and on her son’s behalf on July 9 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Trinity Services, Inc. of Belleville on allegations of negligence in the suspected sexual abuse of her son.
