He filed a wrongful death suit in St. Clair County Circuit Court Feb. 10 alleging Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (MDL) misread his wife's Pap smear in July 2001.

Craig Thorpe filed suit Feb. 14 against United Parcel Service in Madison County Circuit Court seeking damages he sustained when a UPS driver struck him. The accident took place Feb. 21, 2002, when Thorpe was walking along the shoulder of an entrance ramp to Interstate 30 in Little Rock, Ark.
