BELLEVILLE – An employee has filed a class action lawsuit against an O'Fallon Subway restaurant, claiming the store kept workers' tips and failed to pay them overtime despite working more than 40 hours per week.

EDWARDSVILLE – A woman has filed a lawsuit claiming she was exposed to carbon monoxide because of a building owner's negligence in maintaining the heating system.

EAST ST. LOUIS – Amtrak, Illinois Central, and the family of a man who died at a railroad crossing settled a suit that was scheduled for trial starting on Sept. 11.

SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Supreme Court Justices granted an outside judge to former Madison County officials Doug Hulme and Rob Dorman for a suit over their termination in 2020.
