Natalie Bacher has filed a lawsuit against Penn Aluminum International, LLC in the United States District Court, Southern District of Illinois. The case, numbered 3:24-cv-01113, was lodged on April 15, 2024. The plaintiff alleges sexual harassment, sex-based discrimination, retaliation for engaging in protected activity, and a hostile work environment under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. She also claims disability discrimination and harassment under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Bacher is represented by her counsel who filed the complaint on her behalf. She alleges that she has been subjected to different terms and conditions of employment than others not within her protected classes since November 2022. Bacher further asserts that she was sexually harassed by her co-worker Kevin Crockett Sr., an incident she reported to the company's Human Resources Department but no action was taken.

The plaintiff is seeking redress for the alleged violations and damages suffered as a result of the defendant's actions. She has fulfilled all administrative prerequisites including filing a charge of employment discrimination with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and receiving a Notice of Right to Sue.
