EDWARDSVILLE - A man claims his inheritance was reduced from $500,000 to just $1,000 in a will dispute.
The lawsuit was filed in the Madison County Circuit Court by Jason McQuary against Cindy Leezy and William Wyatt.
According to the complaint, McQuary alleges Homer Wyatt, the deceased, was manipulated by Leezy and William Wyatt into changing his will while under the influence of medication and hospice care. The new will allegedly reduced McQuary's inheritance from $500,000 to $1,000.
McQuary is seeking judgment in his favor for an amount exceeding $50,000. He is represented by Maria Mengarelli of Edwardsville.
