BELLEVILLE - A shopper at an East St. Louis Walgreens store claims she was injured when she slipped and fell on a wet floor.
The lawsuit was filed in the St. Clair County Circuit Court by Brenda Butler against Bradley's Building Maintenance LLC.
According to the complaint, Butler was at a Walgreens store in East St. Louis on June 23, 2022. She alleges the floor was unreasonably wet due to negligence by the defendant, which was responsible for maintaining the premises. As a result, Butler claims she slipped and fell, suffering injuries.
Butler seeks a judgment in excess of $50,000. She is represented by attorney Jack McCormack of Morgan & Morgan PC.
