BELLEVILLE - A customer at the Cahokia Walmart claims he was injured when he slipped and fell in the parking lot.

The lawsuit was filed in the St. Clair County Circuit Court by plaintiff Timothy Juelfs against the retail giant, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Juelfs slipped and fell on an oil spill in the parking lot of a Walmart store in Cahokia on July 13, 2022.

The plaintiff alleges that Walmart failed to adequately inspect and maintain its premises and failed to provide any warning about the unsafe condition. As a result of the fall, Juelfs claims to have suffered significant injuries.

Juelfs seeks damages exceeding $50,000. He is represented by attorneys Hipskind & McAninch, LLC.
