An insurance company claims a tree service company failed to pay premiums in breach of their contract.

The lawsuit was filed by Technology Insurance Company in the Madison County Circuit Court against Allan Tree Service, Inc., a corporation that allegedly owes over $67,000.

According to the complaint, Allan Tree Service failed to pay all earned premiums due under the Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance Policy for the period from Aug. 26, 2021, to Aug. 26, 2022.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against the defendant for the unpaid amount along with a statutory rate of 5% per annum or $9.28 per diem from Oct. 1, 2022, to Sept. 26, 2023. It is represented by attorney Kevin Posen of Teller Levit & Silvertrust PC in Chicago.
