EDWARDSVILLE – A woman has filed a negligence lawsuit against Associated Pediatric Dentistry, alleging she was injured after she stepped in a pothole in the parking lot.

Plaintiff Tara Lindsey filed the lawsuit in the Madison County Circuit Court against TSKR Holdings, LLC, doing business as Associated Pediatric Dentistry, citing negligence.

According to the lawsuit, Lindsey was on the premises owned by the defendants on Nov. 21. She alleges that when she took a step from the sidewalk to the parking lot, she stepped into a pothole that had become partially covered by leaves and other debris, causing her to fall and sustain serious injuries.

According to Lindsey, the defendants negligently failed to properly maintain the premises.

The plaintiff claims she has sustained severe injuries, which have caused her to endure pain, suffering and disability. She also adds that as a result of her injuries, she has incurred medical costs and will continue to require medical care to recover from her injuries.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 and any other relief the court deems proper. She is represented in this case by attorneys John T. Hipskind and Brady M. McAninch of Hipskind & McAninch, LLC in Belleville.
