U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) released the following statement after the president signed the SFC Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act into law:
“For the past 20 months, we have worked with countless advocates, senators, and members of Congress from both sides of the aisle to get comprehensive toxic exposure legislation to the president’s desk. As a veteran myself, this goal was always a top priority of mine. The PACT Act will make a difference in the lives of millions of veterans and the survivors and families of those who have unfortunately already left us. It delivers on the promise we have made to our warfighters. Now, Congress will be focused on ensuring VA properly implements this massive bill. The funding in it must be strictly used for getting veterans the care, benefits, and services they are due.”
