EDWARDSVILLE - Veolia Water North America Operating Services is being sued for allegedly failing to pay for completed contractor work at its Roxana facility.
G.R.P. Mechanical Company, Inc. filed the lawsuit in the Madison County Circuit Court against Veolia Water North America Operating Services, LLC, citing a breach of contract.
According to the lawsuit, on July 16, 2018, G.R.P. allegedly entered into a contract with Veolia Water to complete work at the Phillips 66 refinery located at 900 S. Central Ave. in Roxana. G.R.P. claims it has completed all of its obligations under the contract, but alleges Veolia Water has refused to pay the amount due for completed labor despite being continuously invoiced.
G.R.P. is demanding that Veolia Water pay the total due in the amount of $89,370.62 along with pre-judgement interest, attorney's fees, and any other relief the court deems proper.
