Please join the Accounting, Cost & Pricing Committee's panel presentation on the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) & the Brand New DFARS Interim Rule, including three new DFARS contract clauses. The panel consists of Reggie Jones, Chair of Fox Rothschild LLP's Federal Government Contracts Practice, Matt Gilbert, Principal with Baker Tilly and a CMMC-AB certified Provisional Assessor, and Mike Baker, Chief Information Security Officer, with General Dynamics Information Technology.
The presentation will cover the current timeline for CMMC's implementation and what to expect. It will provide an overview of the concepts behind the CMMC, including a discussion of how to understand what constitutes Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The panel will discuss the allowability of the costs incurred by contractors as they work to become compliant. Lastly, the panel will talk about what specifically government contractors are doing now to prepare their supply chains, including small business subcontractors and vendors, for compliance.
