BELLEVILLE -- A Missouri man filed suit in St. Clair County Circuit Court against RP Logistics Trucking, Chauncey Calmese and Becker Iron and Metal, alleging their negligence caused the plaintiff to suffer an injury.

According to James Nunley's complaint, on July 30, 2018, he was loading a refrigerator from the warehouse onto a Becker trailer, which was attached to a RP Logistics truck operated by Calmese. The suit alleges while Nunely was loading the fridge, Calmese suddenly pulled away from the loading dock. The plaintiff says he fell from the truck onto the pavement, suffering injuries that required medical treatment.

Nunley seeks damages in excess of $50,000, costs of suit and all other just and necessary relief . He is represented by attorneys Michael Knepper and Kevin Sullivan of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
