EDWARDSVILLE — A customer is suing an Alton motor repair company, alleging she fell and suffered injuries on the defendant's property.
Brenda Deppe filed a complaint April 23 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Roberts Motors Inc., alleging negligence.
The suit states that on Nov. 10, 2018, Deppe was at Roberts Motors located at 4350 Alby St. in Alton, to pick up her car that had been serviced. Deppe alleges that while walking through the parking lot she slipped on an icy section and fell, resulting in severe and permanent injuries.
The plaintiff alleges Roberts Motors should have properly treated the icy section of the lot.
Deppe seeks judgment in excess of $50,000, plus court costs and all other just and proper relief. She is represented by attorney Carolyn G. Caruthers of Sauter Sullivan LLC in St. Louis.
