BELLEVILLE — A Belleville couple is suing their insurance company, alleging their demands for repairs under their policy were denied.

Joann Greer-Storment and Paul M. Storment Jr. filed a complaint March 14 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against USAA Casualty Insurance Company, alleging breach of contract and breach of promise.

According to the complaint, the Storments had a homeowners' insurance policy with USAA Casualty beginning in 2013. The plaintiffs claim they sustained hail and wind damage to the roof on their home on S. Missouri Ave. in Belleville from April 2017 to December 2017.

The plaintiffs allege they sought a number of reasonable demands with the defendant for repairs to the roof. However, USAA Casualty allegedly has failed to repair the roof or pay for the required repairs.

Greer-Storment and Storment seek attorney fees and judgment between $50,000 $75,000, exclusive of interest and costs. They are represented represented by attorney Paul M. Storment Jr. of Belleville.
