EDWARDSVILLE — A camper is suing a Bethalto campgrounds owner, alleging she was caused to fall due to unsafe property.
Pamela S. Nesbit filed a complaint March 22 in Madison County Circuit Court against Amy Viehman, doing business as Town & Country Lakes, alleging negligence.
The suit states Nesbit was at 801 S. Neunaber Drive in Bethalto on June 12, 2017, when she stepped into a depression in the ground and sustained an injury to her left arm.
She alleges she suffered medical expenses, pain and suffering and disability.
Nesbit seeks damages in excess of $50,000 and court costs. She is represented by attorney Laura A. Cole of Smith, Mendenhall, Selby & Cole in Alton.
