EDWARDSVILLE —A Granite City woman is suing a motorist, alleging negligence caused a rear-end crash.
Tara Copeland filed a complaint Feb. 14 Madison County Circuit Court against Anabel Galeana.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 26, 2018, Copeland was driving on Pontoon Road in Madison County and stopped to make a left turn. The suit states Galeana's car rear-ended the plaintiff's vehicle, causing injuries to Copeland's neck, arm and back..
Copeland seeks more than $50,000 in damages, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by attorney Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone & Lauber in Clayton, Missouri.
