BELLEVILLE — A Madison County motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a rear-end collision on Green Mount Road.

Gregory S. Pringle filed a complaint Feb. 7 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Grace Park, alleging failure to exercise reasonable care and caution for the safety of the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 26, 2017, Pringle alleges he was operating a 2002 Ford Explorer on Green Mount Road at its intersection with Lebanon Road in St. Clair County when his vehicle was allegedly rear-ended by Park's 2010 Volkswagen EOS.

Pringle claims he sustained severe and permanent injuries, resulting in great pain and anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges Park negligently drove her vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable and failed to keep it under proper control.

Pringle seeks trial by jury, damages of not less than $50,000, plus costs of this action. He is represented by attorney Steven Giacoletto of Giacoletto Law Firm in Collinsville.
