BELLEVILLE — A banking corporation is suing a lessee, alleging it owes more than $66,000 for breach of an agreement.

U.S. Bank National Association, doing business as U.S. Bank Equipment Finance, filed a complaint Feb. 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Millikins LLC, alleging failure to perform its obligations under the terms of the agreement.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 10, 2015, Arrow Capital Solutions, a non-party and lessor, and Millikins entered into a lease agreement for the leasing of certain equipment. Subsequently, the suit says, Arrow assigned all its rights and interest to U.S. Bank Equipment Finance.

As of the filing of this complaint, the lawsuit states, the amount of $66,380.95 remains due and owing. The plaintiff alleges Millikins has failed to make payment due for Sept. 1, 2018, and all succeeding payments thereafter.

U.S. Bank Equipment Finance seeks trial by jury, judgment of $66,380.95, plus interest, attorney fees, costs and all further just relief. It is represented by attorneys D. Alexander Darcy and Madelaine Newcomb of Askounis & Darcy PC in Chicago.
