Motorist alleges another driver caused Shiloh crash

BELLEVILLE — An injured motorist is suing another driver, alleging injuries from a Shiloh crash. 

Priscilla Jackson filed a complaint Jan. 23 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Patricia Lane-Trent, alleging failure to maintain proper control of her vehicle.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 8, 2017, Jackson was operating a vehicle at the intersection of Lebanon and Green Mount Road in Shiloh when Lane-Trent's car struck the rear of the plaintiff's vehicle. Jackson says she suffered injuries to her chest, neck, back and other part of the body, and incurred property damage, loss of income and medical expenses in excess of $50,000. 

The plaintiff alleges Lane-Trent failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to yield and failed to slacken speed. swerve or stop to avoid colliding with Jackson's vehicle.

Jackson seeks trial by jury and judgment exceeding $50,000. She is represented by attorney Jason R. Caraway of Caraway, Fisher & Broombaugh PC in Belleville.
