EDWARDSVILLE — A Madison County woman alleges she was injured when she tripped and fell in a Collinsville car dealership parking lot.

Alicia Troy filed a complaint Jan. 25 in Madison County Circuit Court against Rovan Motors Inc., et al, alleging failure to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, Troy was a business invitee at Rovan Motors in Collinsville on Jan. 30, 2017 when she tripped from the change of elevation of the hole and/or broken asphalt in the auto dealership's parking lot.

Troy claims she fell, leading to severe injuries both internally and externally, pain and anguish, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to timely fix the dangerous condition of the parking lot and failed to barricade or give adequate warning of the parking lot's dangerous condition.

Troy seeks trial by jury, judgment in excess of $50,000, plus court costs and all other just and proper relief. She is represented by attorney Micha S. Summers of Walton Telken LLC in Edwardsville.
