EDWARDSVILLE — A couple is suing a motorist for allegedly causing a St. Jacob collision.

John Bushrow and Kathy Bushrow filed a complaint Dec. 20 in Madison County Circuit Court against Randel Rock, alleging failure to operate his vehicle in a safe and careful manner.

According to the complaint, on March 21, 2017, John Bushrow was driving a vehicle with Kathy Bushrow as a passenger on March 21, 2017, when Rock allegedly caused a collision at the intersection of state Route 4 and Ellis Road in St. Jacob.

The Bushrows claim they suffered extensive bodily injuries.

The plaintiffs allege Rock failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield right of way and carelessly made a left turn in front of plaintiffs' vehicle without giving any warning or signal.

The Bushrows seek trial by jury, judgment greater than $50,000, and costs of suit. They are represented by attorney John H. Hustava of Collinsville.
