EDWARDSVILLE — A patient is suing Maryville health care providers, alleging negligent treatment.

According to the complaint, Norbury was a patient of the defendants when they failed to order an MRI or CT scan of his spine, failed to administer antibiotics, failed to order blood cultures and failed to admit the plaintiff to the hospital.

Norbury claims he has sustained serious and permanent injuries, resulting in great pan and suffering, disability, embarrassment and damages.

Norbury seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $50,000, plus court costs. He is represented by attonrey John J. Hopkins of Gori Julian and Associates PC in Alton.
