EDWARDSVILLE — A FedEx Supply Chain employee is suing the company and her supervisor, Theodore Singleton, alleging discrimination and retaliation.

Madison Brooks filed a complaint on Nov. 7, in the Madison County Circuit Court, against the defendants alleging that they violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

The plaintiff alleges that she suffered emotionally and psychologically from the alleged incident.

The plaintiff holds FedEx Supply Chain and Theodore Singleton responsible, because the defendants allegedly subjected her to discrimination, sexual harassment and a hostile work environment. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants retaliated against her with adverse employment actions for making complaints.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, costs and any further relief as the court may deem proper and just.

She is represented by Michael J. Brunton and Mary M. Stewart of Brunton Law Office PC in Collinsville.

Madison County Circuit Court case number 18-L-1511
