BELLEVILLE — A Springfield couple accuses a motorist of negligently driving his vehicle and causing an accident.
Rachel N. Patarozzi and Bradley Patarozzi filed a complaint on Oct. 5 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Joshua Hollinshead.
According to the complaint, Rachel Patarozzi was traveling southbound on Old Chapman Road in Springfield when Hollinshead caused a head-on collision with her vehicle. She sustained severe injuries to her hip, head, shoulder and hand, the complaint states. The plaintiffs allege Hollinshead was not paying attention and had his head down when he crossed into the opposite lane.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $50,000. They are represented by Michael L. McGlynn of McGlynn & McGlynn in Belleville.
