Mayer Brown issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
Mayer Brown achieved first-tier rankings in 114 national and metropolitan categories, including 34 national first-tier rankings, in the 2019 edition of the US News/Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” list. Overall, the firm was ranked in 190 national and metropolitan categories. In addition, Mayer Brown was named “Firm of the Year” in the Appellate Practice category.
Rankings were determined primarily by responses to a survey in which clients were asked to evaluate law firms on their expertise, responsiveness, understanding of the respondent's business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility and whether the respondent would refer another client to the firm.
